1 Person in Hospital After Montco Shooting

The shooting occurred Saturday night in Upper Frederick Township.

One person is in the hospital after a shooting in Montgomery County.

It happened Saturday night around 8 p.m. on the 1700 block of Snyder Road in Upper Frederick Township.

The victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital in unknown condition.

Skippack State Police told NBC 10 that the shooter is currently in custody but did not release any further details.

A young couple recently moved into the home where the shooting occurred, according to photographer Tom Kelly. No word yet on the identity of the shooter or victim.

The Perkiomen Valley Patch reports that there was another victim in the shooting and that the incident was “domestic related.” They also reported that the second victim was killed according to the Breaking News Network though this information was not confirmed by police.
