Families waiting for loved ones wrongfully imprisoned in Russia will soon welcome them home now that the prisoners have been released. Four US residents, including New Jersey native Evan Gershkovich, were released today as part of a major prisoner swap. Gershkovich is a Wall Street journalist who was on assignment in Russia when he was accused of espionage. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison. NBC10’s Leah Uko has the details on the release.
