Watermain Break: Street Turns Into River

Rescue teams in Maryland are fighting through raging water and frigid cold to free trapped drivers.It’s an amazing site on this Bethesda street as people must climb into baskets tethered from helicopters.These drivers are just two of about a dozen people rescued so far after a large watermain pipe burst shortly before 8-am.Moments later, a torrent of water surged down the steep street, washing cars and trucks downhill and trapping those inside.
