What You're Doing Tonight, 6/12

COCKTAILS AND CLASS:  The Hegemonic Bar II is a social experiment about class and money wrapped up in a drinking game that had its first debut 10 years ago . The Hegemonic Bar at Basekamp, an art studio at 7th and Chestnut, is split into three separate rooms, reflecting a generic three-class system of lower, middle, and upper. The rooms themselves increase in elevation as they decrease in scale, each with its appropriate decor, music, drink, and price. The installation focuses on class hierarchy as an example of hegemony, through the form of a bar. The event is free and starts at 6 p.m. For more information call 215.592.7288.

RIDING OF THE BULLS: Meet Market Adventures presents a night of mechanical bull riding and beers for singles at Buckhead Saloon in Northern Liberties for just $10. With $2 "u-call-its" and a bull riding competition until 9 p.m., you have no reason to miss this event. Be prepared to remove your shoes and boots to ride the bull, and ladies, pants are a must when riding. More details can be found by calling 877.668.6338.
