A man walked through Center City carrying a hand grenade and knife Thursday morning, according to police.
They closed off streets around 9th and Market for a short time around 9:30 a.m. as a precaution. Police arrested the man and called in the bomb squad to safely handle the grenade.
The suspect, who is in his 50's, may have mental issues according to police.
