Free for All at the ICA

Free For All: Tonight, the ICA is hosting a celebration of all that is free and good at their "Free for All" party. It starts with The Artist as a Curator lecture series, followed by a DIY Valentine project and something called pierogi pandemonium, which sounds both delicious and overwhelming. Music provided by Blues Control. 6:30-10 p.m.

Daiquiri S.O.S.: Apparently the daquiri is in trouble of becoming extinct, since the Rum Bar is hosting a "Save the Daquiri" party this evening. All daquiris will be half-price and all jerk wings will be $1 from open until close (or until the wings run out). Find it in your heart to save this dying, exotic breed. 5 p.m.- 2 a.m.

Story Time: The velvet-lined L'Etage seems like the perfect setting to host the winners of the City Paper Writing Contest tonight as they read their stories to a quiet, pinot noir-sipping crowd. Free 8 p.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every day by peeping Play’s Dance Card.
