A fatal motorcycle accident caused Route 309 southbound to be shutdown for an hour in Lower Gwynedd. As of 6:30 p.m., one lane is able to get by.
The accident occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The motorcyclist struck a barrier and the rider died at the scene.
Traffic is slowed on Route 309 southbound from Bethlehem Pike to Susquehanna Road, according to PennDOT.
