An Abington police officer and a suspect are hospitalized after a shooting in Montgomery County.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Monday morning in the 2200 block of Cross Road in Abington Township.
Police say the suspect was trying to kick open a door to a home when neighbors called police.
When officers responded, they say a shootout ensued.
One officer was shot in the leg. The suspect was also shot.
No word on their conditions.
