There have been 41 exonerations in Philly but many of the cases haven't been reopened
Since 2018 dozens of inmates have been released after being exonerated of their crime. The latest was a man who was released after serving nearly 40 years for a crime he didn’t commit. The NBC10 Investigators took a look at these wrongful convictions and reporter Claudia Vargas is asking police whether they’ll be reopening the cases to find the real culprits and get justice for families.
