Maxwell's ‘The Serenade Tour' with Jazmine Sullivan coming to Philadelphia this fall

Live Nation

R&B lovers listen up! Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum artist Maxwell is bringing "The Serenade Tour" to Philadelphia.

The "Pretty Wings" singer is coming with award-winning powerhouse and Philadelphia native Jazmine Sullivan. The "Bust Your Windows" singer previously toured with Maxwell in 2008.

The tour will stop at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday, September 24. You can still purchase your tickets at musze.com. Exclusive meet and greet and VIP ticket packages are also available.

It's important to note that hundreds of Aramark food service employees who work at all three stadiums in South Philadelphia, which includes the Wells Fargo Center, are on strike.

Workers say unless their union comes to a deal, they won't work for the foreseeable future, which could impact concertgoers, even those going to Tuesday night's Phillies game at the Lincoln Financial Feild.

The union workers want more healthcare benefits and money in line with inflation. Amarmark said it will offer healthcare to those who work at least 28 hours a week, but workers aren't satisfied with negotiations.

Now, union workers are urging those who attend a concert or a game at the stadiums not to buy food from the concession.

The union doesn't want people to boycott events but boycott Aramark operations inside. In the meantime, Aramark has brought in non-union workers to fill the gaps.
