Theatrical Staging of Langston Hughes' ‘The Ways of White Folks' Debuts at Glen Foerd
Langston Hughes was one of the most important writers to emerge from the Harlem Renaissance. The late poet, novelist, playwright and columnist had his world premiere theatrical staging of his classic 1934 collection of short stories “The Ways of White Folks” on MLK weekend in the mansion at Glen Foerd Public Park and Museum. NBC10’s Astrid Martinez takes us behind the scenes.
