‘Slangin' Pies and Savin' Lives': Down North Pizza owner releases new cookbook

Down North Pizza is a Philadelphia-based culinary venture that is more than just a restaurant. The owner Muhammad Abdul-Hadi hires formerly incarcerated people and is dedicated to reducing recidivism rates within the city. Philly Live’s Aunyea Lachelle got to see how Abdul-Hadi is providing hope through the pages of his new cookbook.
