Severely injured seal recovering after being rescued on Christmas Day

A young seal is being nursed back to health after he was found severely injured in Long Beach Island on Christmas Day. A large laceration was found on his left hip as well as multiple smaller cuts around his body. A veterinarian from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center believes his injuries came from a shark bite.
