Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D) has been re-elected to her seat representing Pennsylvania’s 5th Congressional District, NBC News projects. Scanlon defeated Republican challenger David Galluch. The 5th District contains all of Delaware County, a portion of Southwest and South Philadelphia, and a very small portion of Chester County. Scanlon has served the area in Congress since 2018.
