Rosemary Connors is an Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter for NBC10 News. She is the weekend evening anchor for NBC10, and you can watch her live reports in the field during many afternoons.
Rosemary is the third generation of women in her family to report the news in Philadelphia. She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, who trust her to tell their stories.
"They are counting on me to be accurate and to make their voices heard. It’s an incredible responsibility, which I take great pride in doing. Every day when I go to work, my focus is to inform and serve the community," Rosemary said.
As a native of Wynnewood in Montgomery County, she appreciates the opportunity to cover the region where she grew up and went to college. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. There, she played Division I Ivy League field hockey and had a work-study position at 88.5 WXPN-FM.
Rosemary also holds a law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Her study of the law impacts her work daily. She has reported on the high-profile trials of former Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams, Bill Cosby, former Penn State Assistant Football Coach Jerry Sandusky and many others.
Rosemary joined NBC10 in 2009. Prior to working at NBC10, she got her start in broadcast journalism as an intern at The Today Show and as an intern at NBC10. She then worked as a reporter and anchor in Grand Junction, Colorado and in Fort Myers, Florida. Rosemary has won six Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards at NBC10 for her coverage of topics ranging from a deadly prison standoff in Delaware to school closures in Philadelphia.
Rosemary serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit MANNA. For over 25 years, MANNA has been serving residents throughout the region battling life-threatening illnesses by cooking and delivering medically appropriate meals. Rosemary is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova, where she attended high school. She is also an active supporter of the Kyle Ambrogi Foundation, a non-profit that promotes education and awareness of depression in teens and young adults.
