Erin Coleman is an Emmy Award winning journalist for NBC 10. You can watch her weekday mornings anchoring NBC10 News Today from 4am to 7am. She also co-hosts The Lineup, a digital newscast streamed on the NBC10 apps on Roku and Apple TV.
Erin joined NBC10 in October 2016 and loves covering the region where she grew up. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Voorhees, New Jersey, she is passionate about telling stories and connecting with viewers.
"For me, being an anchor is about digging for the truth as well as being an integral part of the communities we serve," she said.
Erin’s storytelling has taken her all over the country. She has field anchored numerous high-profile events including Super Bowl LVII, the Iowa Caucuses, election night live from New York City and the World Series.
Prior to joining NBC10, Erin was the 4 o’clock anchor at WSB-TV in Atlanta. She has also anchored and reported at WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, WFMY in Greensboro, North Carolina and KAIT in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Her career in television spans more than two decades, and her work has been recognized with multiple honors including Emmy Awards and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.
Erin has always been active in the community. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Cathedral Kitchen, the largest emergency food provider in South Jersey. She can also be found hosting charity galas, walks, breakfast and lunch events, as well as supporting non-profit organizations across the country. Erin is a proud member of Jack and Jill of America and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Erin is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. When she is not anchoring the news, she enjoys spending time with her husband and keeping up with her two children. She also enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and getting lost in a good book.
