Brenna Weick is a general assignment reporter for NBC10. You can watch her weekend mornings.
A South Jersey native, Brenna joined NBC10 in October 2022 after working as an anchor/reporter for Waterman Broadcasting in Fort Myers, Florida for the past five years. Prior to that, she was a production assistant and correspondent at SNJ Today.
One of the most memorable stories Brenna has covered was when Hurricane Ian made landfall on Fort Myers, Florida. She anchored continuous coverage at the only station that maintained signal through the storm, bringing viewers vital and life-saving information.
Having studied Psychology as an undergrad, Brenna is passionate about getting to the heart of stories, not just listing facts but highlighting the human impact. Her goal is to always deliver breaking news as quickly as possible, without sacrificing accuracy.
“As a lifelong South Jerseyan and former Miss New Jersey, I love peach season, summers at the shore, cheesesteaks, and NOT pumping gas,” she said. “Our area has it all and I'm thrilled to be back home.”
Brenna hails from Mantua and attended Clearview High School in Gloucester County. She earned a bachelor’s in Psychology from High Point University and minored in Communications. She was part of the team that was honored with an Edward R. Murrow award for Breaking News Coverage for “In the Tiger’s Mouth,” a story about a tiger attack at a local zoo.

In her free time, Brenna enjoys reading on the beach, going on walks with her son Bennett and her dog Jersey, making buffalo chicken dip on Football Sunday, and cheering on the Eagles!
