WHAT TO DO DURING THE HURRICANE
- Secure all windows in home
- Stay inside, and away from windows
- Unplug unnecessary appliances
- Remain inside until an “all clear” is given
WHAT NOT TO DO DURING THE HURRICANE
- Do not call 911 unless it is an emergency
- In case of lightning, avoid showering, or being in contact with water
- After the storm, avoid contact with trees near power lines, or fallen power line wires
