A New Jersey man is in custody after the man he kidnapped and forced to withdraw cash from a bank slipped a note to the teller, said police.
Tyrone Jackson, 52, is charged with kidnapping, criminal restraint and attempted robbery in the April 2 incident, said Cinnaminson Police.
The victim told police that the Camden man forced him to drive to a Cinnaminson bank and withdraw money from his bank account. Police say the victim wrote a note to the teller saying he was being held against his will.
Officers arrived while the victim was still at the bank and took Jackson into custody.
Jackson is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail. It's unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
