Dunellen, New Jersey's Sydney McLaughlin is breaking records in the Track & Field world. McLaughlin began running at Union Catholic Regional High School in New Jersey. She is the youngest U.S. Olympian to compete in Track & Field since 1972 and set the Junior World Record in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2016 Olympic Team Trials, breaking the previous mark set by Leslie Maxie in 1984. In 2015 she earned gold at the IAAF Youth Championships.
