When You Gotta Go: Man Charged With Defecating in Patrol Car

The suspect told the officer he had a bathroom emergency

A Florida man was arrested after telling a deputy he was speeding because he had to go to the bathroom. He ultimately ended up doing so in the back of a patrol car.

Lake County Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Carlos Adonis Ramos-Erazo refused to get out of his vehicle after being nabbed for going 20 miles over the speed limit Thursday. He said he had to go to the bathroom and drove off, hitting the deputy's arm with the vehicle.

Authorities say the deputy followed the man to his home, where the suspect tried to run inside, but was shot with a Taser.

Authorities say he urinated and defecated in the back of the patrol car on the way to the jail.

The Daily Commercial reported he faces charges including fleeing, battery on a law enforcement officer.

He was released on $18,000 bail, the Daily Commercial reported.
