A New Jersey woman was killed in a head-on collision in Washington Township, Gloucester County Monday afternoon.
Lizzette Nazario, 36, of Blackwood, New Jersey was a passenger inside a 2006 Chevrolet van traveling southbound on Fries Mill Road near Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township around 1:15 p.m. As the van was traveling, a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound on Fries Mill, crossed into the opposite lane and the two vehicles collided.
Nazario was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the van suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Kennedy University Hospital.
Fries Mill Road was closed and traffic was detoured for about four hours due to the accident.
An autopsy will be performed on Nazario Tuesday. Police continue to investigate the crash.
