Cleanup crews are hard at work on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after a tractor trailer accident.
A tractor trailer overturned on the off-bound ramp of I-276 in Bensalem around 1 p.m. One driver suffered a minor injury in the crash.
Crews were called to the scene for cleanup on the Bensalem off-ramp. The crash caused an 18 mile backup on the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the ramp was closed. The Turnpike eastbound from Valley Forge to Bensalem is currently delayed up to one hour and 40 minutes, according to NBC10’s Jillian Mele.
Jillian also reports another accident happened eastbound on the Turnpike at Fort Washington during the delay. Officials have not yet revealed the details surrounding the second crash.
