Police say a man stabbed in the chest and the arm inside a Delaware County bar Monday is facing charges after he incited the violent attack.
The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in Copley's Tavern on the 2000 block of Chichester Avenue in Boothwyn, according to Upper Chichester Police.
Investigators say a 40-year-old man attacked a 55-year-old man, who was holding a knife at the time.
Police said the older man was armed to defend himself. He then stabbing his assailant twice, police said.
Emergency crews rushed the 40-year-old man to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he was in stable condition early Tuesday.

Charges will be filed against the stabbing victim for his role in the attack, but the 55-year-old is not expected to face charges, according to police.
The 55-year-old wasn't hurt.
