A pedestrian died after being hit by a car along a heavily-traveled road in South Jersey Tuesday morning.
The deadly incident happened about 6:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 130 near Cooper Street in Edgewater Park.
Investigators say the pedestrian was struck by a car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not immediately say if the driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The victim’s identity is not known at this time.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
