Police Investigate Stabbing Near Philadelphia City Hall

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed near Philadelphia City Hall Sunday morning.

A man suffered a stab wound to the neck about 10 a.m. on 15th Street near Market, according to police. Investigators said they believe the stabbing, which happened by the Clothespin sculpture, happened during an altercation between two homeless people.

The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. There was no immediate word on his condition. Police cordoned off a small area at the scene and investigated. They continued to search for a suspect later Sunday morning.
