A Philadelphia judge has thrown out 158 drug convictions tainted by allegations of police misconduct.
The Philadelphia Inquirer said Common Pleas Court President Judge Sheila Woods-Skipper vacated the convictions on Friday.
Six officers were acquitted in May of federal corruption charges, while a seventh pleaded guilty and testified against his former colleagues.
The Defender Association of Philadelphia and the District Attorney's office has been looking at the integrity of hundreds of arrests involving the officers, who had been accused of planting evidence and robbing suspects.
Officials estimate that a total of 569 convictions involving the officers have been vacated, with more expected.
