NBC10 reporter Matt DeLucia has the latest on the drive-by shooting of two teenage boys in the city’s Grays Ferry section.
A drive-by shooting outside a Philadelphia eatery left two teenagers hospitalized Sunday.
The 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy were on the sidewalk outside a Chinese restaurant at 31st and Tasker streets in Grays Ferry just before 6 p.m. when at least two masked gunmen drove by in a white sedan and opened fire, police said.
Surveillance video captured the teens fleeing as the sedan sped off. The 15-year-old was struck once in the left abdomen and once in the right foot while the 17-year-old was struck in the left calf and left arm. Police say the older teen ran inside a nearby home and collapsed on the ground. [[370452911, C]]

The 17-year-old was taken to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where doctors treated him in stable condition for gunshot wounds to his leg and arm. [[370446781, C]]

Coincidentally, Mayor Jim Kenney already planned to attend a "We Must Take a Stand" against gun violence meeting Monday night just blocks away at the Vare Recreation Center on Morris Street.
