Pennsylvania Bank Robber Uses Lotion to Conceal Identity

Police are searching for a man who robbed a northeastern Pennsylvania bank with lotion smeared on his face to disguise his appearance.

The (Scranton) Times-Tribune reports the robber walked into a PNC Bank branch on South Main Avenue in Scranton Tuesday afternoon and demanded cash.

Police Chief Carl Graziano says the man threatened employees with a weapon but did not display it.

The man took an undisclosed amount of money from the teller before fleeing the scene in an older model red Cadillac.

Graziano says witnesses described the robber as a thinly-built black man with white lotion on his face.

PNC officials declined to comment on the robbery.
