The Delaware Supreme Court has upheld the conviction of a former pediatrician who is serving life in prison for sexually abusing scores of patients over more than a decade.
The justices on Thursday rejected Earl Bradley's appeal challenging a search warrant that police used to seize homemade videos of Bradley's sexual assaults.
Bradley's attorneys argued that police exceeded the scope of the search warrant when they descended on his medical practice in 2009.
The 59-year-old Bradley was convicted last year by a judge who viewed more than 13 hours of videos showing sex crimes against more than 80 victims, most of them toddlers.
Bradley waived his right to a jury trial after the judge denied a defense motion to suppress the video evidence because it had been illegally seized.
