A Delaware County man was convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl he was supposed to be babysitting.
Patrick Fries, 39, assaulted the girl at his home on the 600 block of Summit Avenue in Prospect Park back on January 10. He was then arrested on Jan. 22 after the girl’s grandmother reported the assault.
Fries was charged with rape of a child, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault and statutory sexual assault. He was found guilty Friday after a jury deliberated for nearly six hours.
