Sketch of Suspect in Mobile Home Park Beating Death

Police seek help in finding suspects in deadly beating

New Castle County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in a slaying in a mobile home park.

Officers say Michael Leger was killed last weekend after he yelled at a driver who was traveling through the Glasgow Court Trailer Park without headlights on.

Police say Leger and the suspect continued a verbal altercation until the suspect drove off while making more threatening comments. Minutes later, the driver returned to the park with an accomplice and the two assaulted Leger, who sustained a fatal wound to his upper body.

Police describe one of the suspects as a stocky black man, 5-feet, 10-inches to 6-foot, 3-inches tall, 250 pounds.

The car involved was a two-door boxy-type vehicle with unknown Delaware registration.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the New Castle County Police Department at 302-395-8110. Tips can also be texted to 847411 -- just start the message with “NCCPD.”
