Police are investigating the execution-style shooting of a man in the Frankford section of the city.
Police say a man in his mid-20’s was shot in the back of the head at an apartment complex on the 1600 block of Foulkrod Street early Saturday morning.
The man's body was found in the stairwell between the 2nd and 3rd floors and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:09 a.m.
Investigators say they also found drug paraphernalia next to his body.
No arrests have been made and police have not yet released a description of any suspects.
They are investigating whether a security camera from a nearby convenience store captured the gunman.
