A teenage girl remained hospitalized Sunday after police say her boyfriend stabbed her in the stomach on Friday.
Police responded to a home on Musgrave Street near Phil Ellena just before 10 p.m. Friday and found the 17-year-old girl suffering from a stab wound to her stomach. Witnesses told officers that the girl's boyfriend was responsible for stabbing her, police said.
The teen was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she remained on Sunday in stable condition.
Police later arrested the girl's boyfriend, who is now facing charges in the stabbing. His identity was not yet released on Sunday.
