Police arrested a man for his alleged role in the shooting death of a male victim after a robbery attempt in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.
It happened Sunday around 12:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of Hewson Street.
Police say Ryan McManus, 20, and another suspect approached Shane Kelly, 27, and a 27-year-old woman he was with.
Investigators say McManus and the other suspect fled the scene after failing to rob the two. As they ran away, police say one of the men fired six shots, striking Kelly in the chest.
Kelly was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead around 4:48 a.m. on Sunday.
No word yet on what McManus is specifically charged with or whether or not police believe he was the one who killed Kelly.
Police are still searching for the second suspect. He is described as a white male with a thin build and short brown hair between 18 to 19 years old.
