Lawyers in the case of the suburban Philadelphia mother of three, who is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old boy, are set to meet in court with a judge Thursday.
Upper Pottsgrove Police uncovered the inappropriate relationship last fall when an officer allegedly found Iris Gibney having sex with the teenage soccer player inside a parked car at Hollenbach Park in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
The 42-year-old was formally arraigned February 18 for corruption of a minor, dissemination of explicit materials to a minor and trespass by auto.
Gibney initially met the Pottsgrove High School student at a high school football game earlier this school year while volunteering for her daughter’s cheerleading team, prosecutors said.
Further investigation revealed Gibney and the teen communicated through Twitter and a public chat room. Gibney also sent the boy sexts and partially nude photos, according to police.
