A house in North Philadelphia collapsed Friday morning, trapping two people inside, authorities say.
The house, located at 906 West Boston St. had an entire exterior wall crash to the ground.
The two men were only trapped for a short period of time and by about 9:15 a.m. they were extricated from the house by fire rescue workers, authorities say.
Officials said the men were working at the home at the time of the collapse and were trapped by debris.
The house was the third building to partially collapse in the city in less than a week. The rear of a three-story apartment building collapsed in South Philadelphia late Tuesday, hours after the wall of a church crumbled in the Frankford neighborhood. No injuries were reported in either case.
The two men at the North Philly house were brought to Temple University Hospital. One of the men has been released.
