Three women have been charged with murder in the deadly beating of a homeless man outside a Philadelphia gas station.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Aleathea Gillard, Shareena Joachim and Kaisha Duggins are charged in the death of Robert Barnes.
Fifty-one-year-old Barnes died Nov. 25 at a hospital, seven months after the assault left him in a coma.
Brian Zarallo, with the Philadelphia District Attorney's homicide unit, says three juveniles who participated in the beating are expected to be charged with murder.
Police say Barnes and a teenager were at the station pumping gas for spare change April 7. The teen later accused Barnes of hitting him, prompting the attack.
Joachim's lawyer says he has no comment on the charges. Messages seeking comment from the other women's lawyers weren't immediately returned Tuesday.
