HIV-Positive Man Pleads Guilty to Raping 6-Year-Old

An HIV-positive Pennsylvania man has pleaded guilty to raping a 6-year-old boy at his home while another man recorded it.

Police say Ira Task, 62, arranged the crime over the Internet with a North Middleton Township man who is also charged with raping the child and live-streaming the abuse.

Pennlive.com reports
Task, of Harrisburg, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges including rape of a child and related offenses.

Cumberland County Assistant District Attorney Nathan Boob told the court Tuesday Task wore no protection and knew he had been HIV positive since 1994.

Police identified Task based on a gold ring he was wearing in the video, as well as other physical characteristics.

Task faces a maximum of 60 years in prison. His sentencing is set for June 6.
