A former Bucks county, Pa., football coach is behind bars on charges that he raped a cheerleader over the span of two years.
Keith Peschen, a married father and president of the Levittown Lions Athletic Association, was arrested after an investigation that started back in July.
The victim, who is now 17 years old, told her mom who alerted authorities. Police say the victim was scared for her life and wasn't sure what to do about the attacks at the time.
Court documents obtained by NBC10 show that Peschen is accused of raping the girl, starting when she was 11 years old. The alleged assaults happened inside Peschen's home and car.
Authorities are now alerting the community, worried there may be other victims.
"We certainly would like to call the attention of people in the community, whose children may have been exposed to this fellow," said David Heckler, Bucks County District Attorney.
Detectives say that Peschen confessed, but admitted only to raping the girl once.
Peschen is being held on 1 million dollars cash bail on charges including rape of a child and aggravated assault.
