A firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling a fire in Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
The blaze broke out inside a cell phone store at 64th Street and Woodland Avenue in the city’s Elmwood section.
When fire crews arrived, they encountered heavy smoke and flames billowing from the store front.
The fire then spread to a neighboring furniture store. Firefighters were able to place the fire under control a short time later.
Fire officials said a firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
