With just 12 days until Christmas and shoppers headed out in droves, the timing couldn't be worse for a South Philadelphia Wal-Mart after a fire broke out forcing the store to close Saturday morning.
The fire broke out outside of the Wal-Mart on S. Columbus Blvd. forcing customers out of the store and into the bitter cold -- sans their holiday items.
The store is closed for the time being, but is expected to reopen later Saturday, according to a store employee.
No one was injured in the fire.
