A car slammed into a guardrail in Montgomery County early Thursday morning as area commuters navigated slick road conditions following an overnight snowfall.
The driver lost control of the car near Welsh Road and Waller Drive in Lower Moreland around 5:45 a.m. and hit a guardrail, officials said.
Another vehicle was also involved in the crash, which led authorities to shut down Welsh Road betwen Huntingdon Pike and Inverness Lane.
Several minor injuries are reported.
Officials said slick and icy conditions contributed to the accident.
