The state panel charged with recommending how to spend Delaware's share of a multistate settlement with tobacco companies is meeting to discuss programs.
The Delaware Health Fund Advisory Committee is charged with making recommendations to the governor and General Assembly for appropriating tobacco settlement funds.
Friday's meeting will include a litigation update and budget update, and recommendations for fiscal 2015.
Panel members also were to receive a report from a working group formed by lawmakers last year to study how tobacco settlement money can best be spent to meet the intent of treating and prevent illnesses associated with the use of tobacco products.
