Convicted Killer Sentenced for 3 More Slayings

A man serving two life sentences for the fatal shootings of a northern New Jersey couple killed after their engagement party has now been sentenced to several more decades in prison for three other slayings.

Shiquan Bellamy of Jersey City received three concurrent 25-year terms during a recent court hearing. He had pleaded guilty earlier this year to aggravated manslaughter charges in the shooting deaths of three city residents

Bellamy was convicted in September 2013 on numerous counts _ including murder, carjacking and robbery _ stemming from the botched carjacking and execution-style murders of 27-year-old Michael Muchiaki and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Nia Haqq.

Both victims were shot twice in the head outside their Jersey City home in April 2010, shortly after they had attended their engagement party.
