Former Eagles Player Clay Harbor On Board Flight From Philly That Made Emergency Landing in Raleigh

Former Philadelphia Eagle Clay Harbor was on board a flight from Philadelphia that made an emergency landing in Raleigh, North Carolina Wednesday.

Republic Airlines Flight 4488, operating as American Eagle, left Philly International at 4:29 p.m. and was headed for Jacksonville, Florida. The plane, which was carrying 65 passengers, was diverted however to Raleigh-Durham International Airport around 5:30 p.m. after smoke was reported in the cabin. 

No injuries have been reported. The passengers and four crew members were brought off and the plane was towed to the gate. Maintenance workers are currently reviewing the issues and officials are working to get the passengers to Jacksonville. 

Clay Harbor, former tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles who currently plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was one of the passengers on the plane. Harbor tweeted about the emergency landing and got a response from American Airlines.
