A child riding a bicycle in Royersford was seriously injured Sunday after being struck by a car, police say.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Walnut Street.
Authorities say the child was riding a bike when he was struck by a a silver Ford Focus sedan traveling westbound on Walnut Street.
The victim was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with multiple injuries. The driver was not injured.
The accident is still under investigation.
