A Bucks County silo collapsed early Thursday morning, trapping a worker -- who authorities presume is dead -- under steel beams and cement.
The Silvi Properties building, located in the Riverside Industrial Complex along the 7900 block of North Radcliff Street in Bristol Township, came down around 4:30 a.m., officials said.
After spending about six hours trying to locate and rescue the victim, authorities announced just before 10:30 a.m. the effort is now considered a recovery.
The silo held materials used in the production of concrete, according to Silvi's website.
The unidentified worker is caught among the debris, a mix of materials used in concrete prodution and pieces of the building infastructure.
The victim's family members are at the scene as crews search the rubble, authorities said.
