The body of a man was found floating in the Delaware River in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia Saturday.
A visiting boat club found the unidentified man wearing a jacket and floating face down in the water behind the Bridesburg Recreation Center on the 3100 block of Buckius Street around 3:30 p.m. At first witnesses didn't realize they had found an actual person.
"They thought we may have put a mannequin in the water just to play a game with them," said Tom Flanagan of Philadelphia. "But it was a body."
Officials have not yet identified the victim. They are working to determine a cause of death.
