The preliminary hearing for the suspect accused of shooting a Philadelphia Police officer during an ambush was continued to March.
A hearing was scheduled for Edward Archer Monday morning, but it was continued until March 10.
It was a "joint continuance request" from both the prosecution and defense.
Archer faces attempted murder and other charges related to what Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross called the "attempted assassination" of Officer Jesse Hartnett in West Philadelphia on January 7.
Archer remains locked up at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia after a judge denied him bail.
Officer Hartnett was released from the hospital on January 22, a little more than two weeks after the shooting.
Hartnett has undergone numerous surgeries to repair damage caused by the three bullets that tore through his arm. He still must return to the hospital for further arm surgery.
